Concrete Damage

As was discussed at the April Board meeting, the Board of Directors and Management have been reviewing the various options available regarding the areas in the community that have failed concrete. The statutory warranty period from the builder for structural common elements in our community is three (3) years, which has now expired. The Board of Directors has considered the possibility of litigation against the builder, but the costs involved with testing core concrete samples, attorney’s fees, expert fees and other administrative costs would be cost prohibitive. Success in pursuing this concrete repair with the builder would be unlikely and unproductive. The Board has made a business decision that it would not be prudent, at this time, to pursue an action against the home builder . The Board, therefore, believes the best option for the Condominium Association, is to budget Reserve funds in future years so that the common area concrete can be replaced.

Board Meetings

Regular Board of Directors meetings are held quarterly on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The meetings for 2019 are scheduled as follows:

  • October 10, 2019
